Sometimes I'm hit with a late night idea that sounds intriguing and then spirals into something that's so... okay so I don't have a justification for it but it's basically a Heavensward AU where Zephirin takes a little too much interest in the WoL it is so messy and trashy but it lives rent free in my head

It is difficult to miss the Fortemps ward, her comparatively short stature and blunted ears clearly marking her as an outsider. Zephirin watches her meander up the curved bridge that leads to St. Raymanaud’s Cathedral, looking a little too at ease for someone who is purported to be guilty of regicide. Heretic, his mind warns as he observes her staring at the building, she is a heretic – never mind that he has heard about how she saved Ser Francel from an imposter Inquisitor, never mind that she has assisted the Lord Commander in the fight against the heretics, never mind that she walks about Ishgard as a ward of a most distinguished House – she must surely be a heretic because he has never desired someone as much as he desires her, and that cannot be possible because he is Zephirin the Just, the Very Reverend Archimandrite of the Heaven’s Ward, and if someone as pious and devoted to Halone as he is is tempted by the woman with the copper-hued hair, she must surely be an apostate, a heretic, and heretics were to be punished most severely-

hi, i am in dire need of help. i’m really, really, trying to start a fantasy story but i feel like everything has been done. with this said, i really need a plot and i don’t know where to turn to. i have the characters and the world building done, i just don’t know what to do with it and i’m having an extremely hard time comming up with an objective, a goal.
