Veha just became my favorite character in this show with that quick backstory because he was so nice and kind before, yet completely ignored.
Nobody paid attention to him, especially the guy he clearly had a crush on. That guy didn't even know he existed. And still doesn't.
It wasn't until he became attractive did anyone even bother to look at him, and that person just happened to be Lion.
It didn't matter that Lion had a long-term boyfriend. Someone was finally noticing Veha and treating him with love, which is probably all Veha has really wanted, so the betrayal was worth it. He got his prize!
But then the guy he always wanted to notice him pops back up out of nowhere, yet that guy has no clue how much Veha liked him because he never even registered that Veha was alive.
And now the only reason he is even looking Veha's way is because he hates Veha.
The one guy Veha wanted to like him, the guy that Veha brought food to and watched all his games, the one person Veha wanted to see him finally does. And he is disgusted by him.
Veha never forgot Akki, but Akki didn't even remember him.
The entire time Veha was doing everything for Akki, Akki never saw him, but now that Veha is at his worst, Akki is there to witness it all.
Shit way to finally get his crush's attention after all those years of hoping to be noticed.
And Veha finally thought he was being seen with Lion, so he was willing to do anything to keep that happiness.
But no matter how attractive he became, nobody still wants him. Nobody still picks him first.
