I LIVED, BIATCHES!
Literally tho, haven't been on here for a hot minute. But I am back! And immediately with another post about Transformers thoughts. Basically a little headcanon(?) I have.
I haven't been on here for a while, but I've been thinking a lot about Transformers x human reader stuff. Specifically about our senses. I think I've already seen a post on here about us having more sensitive physical senses, like we can probably feel every scratch the bots get on their armour plating. But what about other senses?
Me thinks that Cybertronians cannot be stealthy for shit around a human. Like, they are walking giant hunks of metal. I can literally sometimes hear my own damn heartbeat or hear my own insides move around.
We would literally hear everything they do. When they move around, when they walk around, maybe even their sparks. So what if that's why we become good pets for them? There are already posts about humans having that 'something is wrong' sixth sense, but our normal senses would also be pretty good.
I doubt Cybertronians have as good of a grip on their senses as we do, especially hearing. They are giant living metal beings, walking around a metal planet, surrounded by running engines, flying planes, shuttles and trains. If their senses are as good as ours, stealth would not be a damn option. It's like walking around in full metal armour, all the clinging and clanging.
So, the consensus of my likely inaccurate rant is: Human reader will likely need headphones around places with a lot of bots, like on the Lost Light or just in their bases. But also, we'd likely be good watch outs or alarms during the war, like those birds in coal mines to alert miners in the past. We'd hear Decepticons approaching before the bots know. Any bot could literally keep us on them and noone would be able to sneak up on them, we'd just hear them.
