“Would you stop squirming?” Dabi growled in his ear, struggling not to smile. “I just want a hug!”

“I cahhahan’t hehelp it! Eheheha, wahhaatch your hahands!” Hawks giggled, arching some when Dabi pressed into his back more. Normally such a gesture would feel lovely by his dear villain.

If said hands weren’t dangerously close to the edges of his wings, fingertips scraping along the bases and sending relentless waves of ticklishness up his spine.

“I don’t get what you’re complaining about. I’ve held you like this several times before. What’s new?” Dabi curled his fingers meanly, feeling Hawks jump in his arms with a small squeak. “Hehehe.”

“Yoohohu’re doing this on phuuhuhrpose!” Hawks cried, overcome with giggles as he arched in Dabi’s embrace. He tried to gently push him off, but the burned villain had a strong grip when he wanted to. “Cohoohohme ohohohon, yoohohou knohohw yohohou’re tiihihickling mehehehehe!”

“Am I? What- the big bad hero’s ticklish?” Dabi cooed, nuzzling his cheek with his nose as he carried on lightly scraping his nails against his wings. “Wow, look how red you are. How cute~”

“Shuhuhuhuhsh! Ehehahahahhaa!” Hawks ducked his head away, but Dabi held him even closer, forcing his face to remain seen. “Yoohohoou’re suuhuhch a tehahahhse!”

“And you love this.” Dabi bit at his lip playfully before pushing Hawks into the bed, switching from his wings to his ribs. It was less ticklish of a spot, but it gave Hawks the necessary break he needed while keeping him laughing. “You love when I tickle you, Birdie. I know you do- you make those cute little chirping noises whenever I go for a spot like this one,” He moved to Hawk’s hips, earning said bird noises. “And you never fight me off. If anything, I think you want me to tickle you more~”

“Shuhuhuhush! Ehahhahha, shuhuhuhhuhhsh! Shuhuhut yoohohohur mohoouth! Ehahhhaa, screhehehw it! Yoohohohu asked for thihihihihs!” Hawks cried as he stretched his wings. He wasn’t able to curl them around the burning villain, but he was able to shake off a few loose feathers to bug him with. “Tahhahake thahahat!”

“Eh! Sh-Shihihit!” Dabi yelped, jerking his arms back when those bastard feathers darted under his arms. He doubled his efforts, one hand on Hawk’s belly while the other shot up to a stretched wing. “Lihhike this woohohuld stop mehehehe! Take thahat!”

“AH!” Hawks shrieked, the feathers falling flat as he spasmed. He tried to curl into himself, but Dabi was adamant on scratching the meat of his wings. “Ehahahahahhhahha! Nohohohoho! Nohohohot thehehere! Nohohohoht thehehehere, ehahhahahhahahahha! Dhahahahabi!”

“Hehe, that’s right. Scream my name.” Dabi laughed evilly, relishing his squeals for mercy. “I wanna hear it in my dreams, birdie.”

“Yoohohohou’re twiihihisted! I’m goohoohohnna geheheht you bahhahack so bahahahhad!” Hawks cried, face as red as his feathers. Dabi leaned down to kiss his cheek, smiling warmly against his skin.

“I’m looking forward to it, hero. Now- sing me a song.”
