You know, despite how much I talk about Kanatoria I actually really love Victoria/Strahdanya. I think their story is beatiful, and their love is so very tragic and violent, while also a gentle thing that makes both of them better, they complete each other in such a gorgeous way. I will forever remember how I felt during that wedding scene, the way Nikkie described how Strahdanya was at peace, for, from what we can presume, the first time in hundreds of years.

Victorias love has been beaten down her whole life, she has so much of it to give but is not allowed to do so because of a darkness within her that she cannot make up for.

Strahdanyas love has never been able to truly get out, perhaps because of the life she was cursed with perhaps because of her very nature. She has had so many lovers but no love to give, because of a darkness within her that she cannot overcome.

They complete each other, making what would be a curse to anyone else the thing that draws them together.

i love being lesbian. i don't get to be vocal about it irl for obvious reasons being muslim and all so sometimes i don't think much about it but.. it really does feel nice loving it loudly even if i can only do that online
