Just a small lil happy story
So today was a lazy Sunday for us, my mom still fighting off a sickness that really knocked her off her feet, and we're watching our latest addiction Curse of Oak Island
Great show, would recommend but I will warn it's such a suspense ride that just pissed you off for the first few seasons
But our convo turned to how easier it would have been in this one instance if they had thought like criminals. Now for those who don't know, my mom has been a police officer for 30+ years and is an on the call negotiator, a job to which you need an understanding on the human mind to properly work. I concur, and draw an example from writing my own characters. Then, going off on a tangent I get excited amd explain my psycho analyses I've done on a few criminal characters, and she's nodding along and is practically finishing what I'm saying.
My entire thesis on @ninjahaku21art Vincent was validated by her, someone with professional street knowledge on the criminal psyche, noting upon how despite his impairment his childhood was more or less the deciding factor on his life choices and she was glad I picked that up
And tbh my dumb ass is just squealing cause I can't take compliments without turning into a tomato.
