Ok tumblr. HELP.
I'm looking for a book search platform...and no. Not google.
I am looking for stories that have incredibly specific story lines and themes, but google searches are just not helping me. Or else I'm searching incorrectly. Is there a platform, or a way to tailor something like Goodreads, that you can put in genres/themes/tropes and have it give you books with said parameters?
My friend is currently deployed and needs help looking for reading material. It HAS to be available on Kindle as that is how he is reading. He is looking for stories that have incredibly specific themes and situations, and despite how many times @writing-until-i-drop try, we can't find anything that fits. 😪
If there isn't anything like that, how do I post on Reddit a list of things I'm looking for without it getting flagged by mods as spam. Because that's already happened. 🙄
Or is there anyone who's super amazingly fantastic at book searches that could help?
Spread this far and wide. He has 5.5 more months over there. I want to be able to give him some options.
