Sometimes I genuinely don’t know how I get misgendered. Like I’ll look into a mirror - I really look at myself - and don’t see any of the gendered features on my face. Is it just because I’ve a baby face that I get misgendered? It doesn’t make sense because I don’t see the gender, I only feel that I have no gender. So when I go out and get misgendered I think, “oh it must not be because of my face but defining attributes of my body, as much as I try to hide them, because it’s a known fact that when cis people can’t tell someone’s gender they’ll look for those bodily gendered traits.” Which is just major dysphoric because ThEY aRe LoOKiNg aT My MoST DySphoRiC FeATuReS ThAT I DoNT WaNt tO bE LOoKeD At.
