one thing that is so prevalent to their dynamic is how much they emotionally need each other to ground them. when one of them worries about the past and their time lost or the future and how little time they have left, they both think about what they have now and how they are Finally together again.
it’s so clear that them needing each other is truly what drives the narrative and how the biggest comfort they have is exactly who has been the first person to ever truly know them. and now that they are both sarcastic old men who have been riding on this tension their entire lives, they have nothing to lose, so why not find every type of comfort in each other?
I hate eye contact. This may come as a surprise to you because you're well aware of my odd habit of staring at you over hangouts. Years of being teased about how, when I'm tired, my right eye drifts a bit, and how if I look with my right eye, my left eye drifts. Three eye surgeries, all before I was two to fix strabismus, a medical condition more commonly known as 'cross-eyed,' still didn't completely fix the drifting. Even now adults still ask me what I'm looking at while I'm looking at them, or look over their shoulder and demand to know what it is that's so important. But you don't. You've never commented on my eyes, except to tell me how beautiful they are. I hate eye contact. But when I look at you, I love it. When I look into your sometimes-hazel-sometimes-green-sometimes-blue eyes, all I feel is understood and warm and soft and safe. Safe. I have never felt safe looking into another person's eyes, but I could stare into yours for forever. I hate eye contact. But it's the closest I can be to you, and I adore it.

I’m playing White 2 ONLY so I can actually experience the Battle Subway. On my team I also have a Electross and Lampent named Emmet 2 and Ingo 2. I feel like I’m soon about to behold the ancient texts (Battle Subway dialogues). I am a normal amount of excited trust
