Been thinking about it for a while and it’s probs reaching but just saw rostam’s argument on la la land v moonlight and I’ve just been thinking since the oscars?? Idk. I didn’t even watch the oscars bc I kinda hate it but the whole mix up was questionable af to me?? Lol

Both were beautiful and comparing the two is wrong, but tru irdk how the announcers said la la land. Maybe they had the wrong card idk I wasn’t watching but still y'all r u kidding

Conspiracy!!!??!! Yea la la land looked purposefully announced to have moonlight maintain the inferiority it already had in cinema and audiences and media. Someone needed to say it to keep white hetero narratives more relevant in cinema than any minority centered movie.

The mess up just lowkey pissed me off. People fuck up, but doing so gave the media to talk more about what? La la land bitch. Not the winner bitch. Moonlight was beautiful so talk about it bitch. As a movie/cinematography geek I got so offended lmfao. Whites can't just sit tf out
