Breath and Time !

Breath : How have you changed over the past year(s)?

In the past few years, I left my parent’s home, I met a lot of people, I discovered tumblr and I changed of formation about three times. All in all a hell fucking lot happened !

I became more mature (even if I have a lot to learn), and mostly more responsible. I learned the monetary value of a lot of things, and that if I wanted to get stuff done, I’d have to get around to doing it myself, even if I hated it.I also discovered how I live a lot better without my parents around, as I put less pressure on myself, and I freed myself of a lot of restrains. I also learned a lot about adulthood, and that my parents are mostly as confused as me for about 80%of things, and that they get around a lot because they did a lot of stuff that I have yet to try. I mostly started to see my parents as actual humans, with wrong opinions and flaws, rather than well… parents.

On the part of tumblr, it opened my mind to a whole new perception of the self (probabaly helped me come to term with the fact that I liked girls, as well as discovering the world of queers), it made me put words on things (like feminism and the patriarchy) and helped me become a lot more tolerent, as well as kinder, and less judging.

I like to think I became a better person in those years, even if I became a bit more social awkward around what society consider “normal people”. But this year, after starting video game studies, I found a lot of people that think a bit or a lot like me, and that is very helpful.

Time : What is your favourite memory?

Another fond memory I have is when I was 8-11. I had this friend in elementary school, she was very dear to me. We’d spend all our free time in the library drawing manga with cheap fountain pen in rough books and when school ended, she’d take me to her home. 

I was a bit scared of her big brother, because he was very tall, and a bit awkward around me (but really, he was awkward around everyone except his sister and friends).One day, she took me into her brother’s “living space” and showed me his Magic (the gathering) cards. 

Even tho I never learned to play, I still buy cards from time to time because I love the artworks.
