When I don’t have the same reaction to something that everyone else does, sometimes I wonder if there is something wrong with me, especially when some people try to make me feel bad about my own opinions. 

Then I realize how stupid that is, because there is nothing wrong with me. I have high standards and I won’t be made to feel ashamed of it, either. 

If that makes me a snob, then I’m not just any snob, I’m a FUCKING SNOB and I’m fucking proud of it, too.

I can't run back to you. You see me as a "maybe." You see me as an "option." And as much as it hurt for me to walk away, I deserve WAY more than that. I deserve way more than a "maybe." And until you realize that, I’m looking for someone who sees me as something more than a spur of the moment choice. Maybe by the time you do, it’ll be too late.

So my neighbor wants to hook me up with her daughters friend Shawn. I do want to date again, but the more I think about it, the more I just want to focus on myself & get better first. I can’t see dating when I’m so messed up, because I can be really selfish and my insecurities ended my last relationship. I guess it’ll happen when it’s time.

It is sad to me how many women settle for ugly men with terrible personalities just to avoid being single. Please learn to love yourself.
