so, if ryker has 2 mutant parents but no mutations themselves, are they treated unfairly by both humans and mutants? how do they feel about not having inherited a mutation? what are ryker's parents like?

rykers parents are cold and distant theyre very work oriented peoplethey neglected ryker severely causing ryker to become the workaholic they are (throughout childhood they tried to gain their parents love attempting to impress them with things they built and such);; their parents are very performative and often act loving towards ryker in front of others they have an image to keep (but alexei destroys it for them(ryker))

ryker is typically treated normally by humans unless its someone who doesnt like mutants;; if they know ryker is a child of 2 mutants then the person will probably either pity or be disgusted by ryker sometimes bothryker is also typically treated normally by mutants unless that mutant is wary of humans (understandably) for ryker how theyre treated being an abnormal human is pretty much based on the person and how much that person knows about rykerexamples of their relationships go:

felix(mutant) - theyre very close as they grew up together for 4 years of their childhood;; felix doesnt particularly care if someone is mutant or human;; tho he does tend to gravitate more towards mutants since he finds them more interesting (appearance wise)dara(human turned mutant) - theyre also very close for the same reason as felix (since he is felixs little brother...);; as a child dara always looked up to felix and wished he was a mutant just like his brother(he later got his wish painfully);; he always thought ryker was cool!alexei(mutant) - i dont think alexei particularly cares if someone is mutant or human either;; he just wants ur dirt to get ur money;; but coming across rykers situation i think its because he could relate to them (parent(s) being into shady business and being dragged into it without wanting) he decided to help; and eventually became attached as well;; tho to be sure youll have to ask @polichevs // @valeramaximov since alexei is my boyfriends oc and not mine!lorenzo(human) - lorenzo and ryker dont actually know each other but hes an example of a mutant hating human who would both pity and be disgusted by ryker

ryker themself doesnt particularly care about not having inherited the mutation;; theyve grown bitter and hateful towards their parents so theyre glad they have 1 less tie to them

Is your character aware of this?pietro: back when he was still a cop it was zacharie who had a crush on him;; he was aware of it they were a thing for a small while before they decided nahand before he and artyom got together;; he was..completely unaware of artyoms feelings for him since he made himself very..oblivious to his own emotions..so while he had an obvious crush on artyom as well..he just never realized it and thought he favoured artyom as some kinda higher level of best friend sdlfkjsfelix: yes, very many(most notably pekka);; and he is Very aware of it he revels in itzacharie: yes! tho its more of a hero crush?? not a romantic one….just someone u rly admire.. its dušan;; zacharie is unaware

aa thank u! and sure!felix likes to sing along to songs a lot! he has a very nice voicehe and dara both are the kind of people to listen to songs on repeatpietro really likes candy! the super sugary stuff thats usually often too much for people to handlemiska likes these squishy dinosaur thingiesagostina seems very distant and unfriendly at first but after a while her silence can be sort of comforting? she has a way of making you feel safe enough to tell her anything;; not like shes trying to squeeze information out of you just because she cares and would like to help you with whatever is on your minddemetrio is the kind of person who buys too many bookmarks bc they were really pretty but only reads 1 book at a time so almost never uses them allfelix cant stand silence;; if its too quiet hell often start making some kind of tapping sound or lightly drum on a desk or his legbecause of pietro, felix thought abt growing light facial hair a few times but he felt he looked…lazy with itdara really likes shows like criminal minds and forensic files;; he sometimes just has them playing in the background while hes working or doing something else;; he sometimes gets paranoid watching too much of forensic files tho,,antoine and felix are friendly acquaintances;; their small talk is often in tagalog instead of italian;; not that theyre trying to hide anything felix just thought antoine might like it better, and he doestalia considers dara her best friend! they like taking weird pictures together;; the kinds you would just caption a “cursed image”talia Loves tarot cards and doing readings! her favourite card is the loversdara likes collecting little twigs and branches;; theres nothing really special about them? he just sometimes sees some when hes walking that he just really likes for some reason?? and he just..Keeps it…dara and talia share an animal skull collectionelio used to have an eraser collection;; his favourite kinds were the pull apart and put together ones that looked like foods
