I wanted a new background for my blog, so I loaded an old save and revisited Antibaar. Because Antibaar is where you go for cool visuals.
31 Days of Dragon Age: Part Three
Oct 13 - Introduce your Hawke
Meet Meroka Hawke, warrior, former smuggler and all around just tired. Her nose has been broken several times and most recently en route to Skyhold. She had long wavy hair that was kept in a complex set of braids, less complex after Bethany left for the circle, during the game but she cut it off after killing Anders. In mourning, and a fugitive doesn’t have much time for hair care.
Oct 14 - Favorite DA2 romance
Fenris❤️
Oct 15 - Favorite DA2 companion
Merrill💚 here is a really old cosplay of mine
Oct 16 - Favorite DA2 location
The Hanged Man, it’s a real happening place where a few people know your name and the floor stains are not at all suspicious!
Oct 17 - Favorite DA2 quest
Helping Merrill with her Eluvian
Oct 18 - Favorite DA2 NPC
The Arishok was so interesting and I was very upset that events shook out the way they did with Isabela and then I had to kill him 😭
Oct 19 - Favorite DA2 scene/dialogue
I love visiting Fenris for the first time and commenting on the decor. Anything with Varric really, they have such a bond with Hawke
Oct 20 - Favorite DA2 lore/codex entry
Did anyone else find the legacy stuff with Malcolm to be very sad? Interesting but man, Malcolm why??
31 Days of Dragon Age: Part One
Hooray for Dargon Age! I will be using the tag “klynn’s dragon age tag” if you would like to mute/block that. It was easier with so many events going on to do a weekly batch
October 1st Introduce your Hero of Ferelden
Dalish Warrior Damodryd Foxglove Mahariel (Warden Fox)
Since my files are corrupted and long gone enjoy this recreation in the DA:I creator with the vallaslin that are not nearly as good as in DA:O. Imagine the hair as the long straight with the braided sides. The Relena Peacecraft situation but elven
Small but fierce, her mother had hoped she would be a spy, perhaps a healer, but Fox was too impatient and hot tempered for subterfuge.
October 2nd Favorite Origins romance:
It was Alistair, I was gutted when he wouldn’t marry my Warden, GUTTED. Went into the game completely blind. I imagined them having dalliances over the years but it was just too sad. Zevran and Morrigan coming in strong as 2nd and 3rd. But Alistair is so sweet, and I still love him, my big dumb (affectionate) knight in shining armor.
October 3rd Favorite Origins companion:
Morrigan! Fox found her prickly attitude and approach to spell casting very charming and decidedly they were to be friends. She did agree to talk Alistair into giving Morrigan a child, and there are a lot of complicated feelings tied up in that but Fox is delighted to read letters about Kieran.
October 4th Favorite Origins location:
Brecilian Forest, you can take the girl out of the woods but you can’t take the woods out of the girl
October 5th Favorite Origins quest:
Nature of the Beast, I thought it was so unique and sad and interesting
October 6th Favorite Origins NPC:
Dagna! Bodahn and Sandal! Grand Oak…sorry I was supposed to pick one?!
October 7th Favorite Origins scene dialogue:
The entire exchange with the Grand Oak was delightful!
October 8th favorite Origins lore/codex entry:
I’m sure I had a favorite when the game was fresher in my mind, but I enjoy how creepy the creature entries are. This poem I really liked as I’ve combed back through through the entries online.
Codex Entry: Ballad of Ayesleigh
the wind that stirs their shallow graves carries their song across the sands
heed our words hear our cry the grey are sworn in peace we lie
heed our words hear our cry our names recalled we cannot die
when darkness comes and swallows light heed our words and we shall rise
Commander diligently at work, considering who to wreck next and being aesthetically pleasing about it.
This might be the weirdest video game mummy I have seen...
Thanks wiki.
“I don’t see that as inevitable.”
I think Ashley underestimates just how much humans love dogs.
