Sandrone: If anything happens to Paimon, you'll have to answer to me.
Childe: I've handpicked my most trusted subordinates to watch over Paimon.
Pierro, blocking a direct hit from Ronova to keep Paimon safe: It is as if you are the only sane thing that survived that era of insanity, and thus, are worthy of protection.
I love how protective the Harbingers are of Paimon.
BONUS:
Wanderer: Paimon, why do you think you're useless?? Where's that coming from??
Wanderer: *Proceeds to give Paimon some advice so that she can improve herself and stop doubting her abilities*
some childe doodles i made a while ago bc im yet again. obsessed with this man. he was never my 2020 crush, im still not over him until now fyi 😛
i think Childe's family would welcome you with open arms. excitedly crowding around you, fawning over the person who managed to ensnare the heart of their infamously ruthless son. his mother practically coos, cupping your cheeks while his father watches fondly from a few steps back. Teucer and Anthon cling to your legs, Tonia cheerfully hangs off your arm, and Ajax's older siblings linger in the background, whispering and chuckling quietly. all staring at you with eager azure eyes, a room full of ginger and blue. you're abruptly yanked inside and ushered to the table, Ajax closing the door behind you with a grin. he can't stop smiling- his family already adores you, just as much as he does.
the kitchen is a flurry of activity and scents, garlic and peppers searing in several pans. in an instant you're surrounded by a curious cacophony of voices- questions about your home, your health; friendly arguments between siblings; the light scolding tone of Ajax's mother swats away a hand trying to swipe a snack- you sit amidst the chaos, watching, almost in awe. Ajax slides into the chair beside you, a lazy smirk on his face. reaching out and twining his fingers with yours, a distinctly inhuman rumble in his words.
"See? Told you there was nothing to worry about. They love you!"
your cheeks warm, and he laughs, full and long and purring. the mark of a second presence, curled up in the shadows. equally as delighted as Ajax, basking in his family's warmth.
you're the brightest of all, a shining star in the ice of Snezhnaya's everlasting winter.
