Writing Tip: Just write even if it trash writing for a few minutes per day could get you up to your goal faster than forcing yourself to write 10k when you cant
If you’re having fictional creatures know how their powers work in and out before you even try and type if you want ask me some questions and i link some resources babes
So I got home from work, had dinner with my love. I then thought it was a great idea to take a nap (I had a mild headache and wanted to sleep it off) and 8 hours later I arose from death and now I'm wide awake and don't know what to do with myself. I was supposed to pack some boxes to take to storage so I wouldn't have to live like a box troll. So here we are 4 in the morning, I can’t tell you when the last time I saw 4 in the morning was.
Have you read any of the post-Nemesis books, especially TNG ones? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts (especially because holy shit, Beverly/Picard)
Only two, Death in Winter and Q&A. I did, at one point, try to delve into the timeline, after a ‘Natasha Riker-Troi and Rene Picard what now?’ moment. But it was super complicated and I thought if I went in too deep I would never want to read them and I sort of did… But I have not. I wish my library carried these books, I don’t think I want to own them even if I found them used and cheap – I just want less clutter in my home and my pile of books to be read is already far too unwieldy. Also, as I said it seems super complicated and I don’t actually care about plot at all. I want introspective character and relationship analysis. Which I did get in Death in Winter, so I don’t know, but these are the reasons I haven’t read them. So, Death in Winter - of course I read that immediately! Beverly and Jean-Luc OTP Forever! I haven’t read it in ages, though I do still have both it and the Q one and now kinda want to go take them off the shelf. Because what I recall from reading it is a mixture of ‘FINALLY’ and 'well, but, why’. What I recall of Q&A is one or the other saying something along the lines of 'We should have done this years ago’ Q popping in to say ’Same’ (does this scene exist? I don’t know?).
Anyways, I’m sorry I don’t have much to say here (if I re-read I will maybe come back to it). I will be more than happy to babble about Beverly/Picard if you want to ask THAT (and I just remembered I have a thing vaguely related to this that I will now post for your entertainment).
why do I feel depressed out of nowhere bro
