STUPID POST CANON IDEA;

you guys need to know in my eyes following the shows finale i always either see entrapta and hordak either being so sickenly in love by the finale they just are dating, no questions asked- or they aren’t even sure if the other likes them the same way/ are aware they like each other romantically

— and enter the dumb idea;

following that second scenario and i just giggled at the scenario where the alliance tries to set them up (mainly adora and the princesses), and plan the elaborate date without telling them. they tell them to come to this very fancy dinner where everyone’s gonna be there and dress nice as the date of etheria is on the line or smth stupid, they both get there and it’s just them- literally imagine them at a cheesy table flooded by roses (thanks perfuma), music (either its swift wind or seahawk or even worse, both.), and cheesy food being served by adora in a horrible disguise along with everyone in the background trying so hard to set a mood to have them admit they like each other! cut to entrapta and hordak having the worst time and being so confused wtf is even going on.. and are barely keeping it together by thinking everyone is acting strange and eventually they just exclaim how ridiculous this all is and bond over it and in the eyes of everyone else they think the night is just over- especially when entrapta and hordak kind of wreck everything (i.e. moving the flowers away, asking them to stop the music, requesting different food to eat) but it’s just them getting comfortable again and having their own version of an nice night !

TLDR: i think people trying to matchmake entrapdak would be fucking hilarious

A dog in the uber I went on today nipped me playfully and then I proceeded to have hours long anxiety abt it and thinking that I'm going to contract a disease or something.

No matter what my parents or friends said I just got so paranoid. there's a super tiny scratch that I don't know if that is from it or not, and I didn't bleed so it should be fine. But yeah not fun.

I feel bad cause the guy was nice, but I’m just so mad cause his dog caused me to have a hours long anxiety episode. I was nice the whole time and didn’t even tell him but I suppose that’s a whole other problem.

oh the ways i’d make c*w and certain homophobes uncomfortable if given 15 minutes of open mic at a panel. there were certain choices made while building the dean winchester character they can’t possibly expect people not to identify as lgbtqia+. in that spirit here are some things i’d really like to hear heterosexual explanations for:

top 5 unexplainably [redacted] dean moments

#1 rhonda hurley and her pink satiny panties. i mean do you really think a cis het womanizer macho man (who they want us to think dean is) would try panties on because a girl asked him to and actually admit he liked it in any occasion? a man with a straight mindset would rather being torn apart by rabid wolves instead of saying that out loud

#3 not for nothing but the last person who looked at me like that… i got laid (??????????? i mean how do you even take this straight

#4 free to be you and me - entire fucking episode (highlights: thelma and louise; bert and ernie; not gonna die a virgin on my watch - dude is just unhinged in this one)

#5 the “turned out to be a gay thing”. literal raw gay/bi panic. his mind went ???!!!?? to a point he struggled to get out of the bar without bumping into shit

honestly the list goes on i just get really pissed off about the amount of gaslighting we were exposed to for over 10 years

let me count the ways!!! I think it’s a missed opportunity to write a mostly silent X-Files episode (an incredible concept) only to keep Mulder and Scully – who are so good at unspoken communication – apart and alone for so much of it. and then in the first scene they’re only not talking because they’re looking at their phones so much, even though the rest of the revival played up how old school they are (which I think sometimes went too extreme in the other direction; Mulder would love having a phone at his fingertips, but I also don’t think they’d sit around on a date with each other and read the news online. you can’t just decide to code them as addicted to their phones for one episode for the sake of commentary). it was out of character for Scully, who went on the run from the FBI, to live in that smart house. and it’s bleak as shit! thematically!! “we have to be better teachers” to the robots? dark. and not in a way that makes it an interestingly cynical thematic counterpoint to a show that’s generally rooted in humanism and hope. rm9 completely replaces both the syndicate (corruption on txf is human, not alien) and the unknown (the show’s analog for faith) with technology, and it doesn’t seem to realize how hollow that is. the last scene is pitch perfect and SO warm, and I think the rest of the episode could have worked better if it were more obviously a fable, like how pmp is in black and white to set it apart. but as is it doesn’t work for me.
