ok... a few days ago i came up with a lil ghosthunting/modern au fic idea. i dont know if i’ll actually write it since i kinda suck at writing prose and i dont have time to make a fancomic on top of my regular comic, but here’s the very VERY vague idea ive come up with (putting under a read more because im kinda self-conscious about sharing lol)

Anko, Kurenai, and Asuma start a ghost hunting club and they ask Gai to join, who says he’ll only join if Kakashi joins (thinking he wont join). Kakashi ends up saying yeah sure whatever (doesn’t actually believe in ghosts). So they go ghost hunting a few places, not really finding much.

Eventually they find out that Kakashi has a ghost that’s been following him around. They’re not sure who it is though so they spend time researching it.

Ghost ends up being Sakumo. He’s been haunting Kakashi pretty much ever since he died. Something is keeping him on earth so he started out just watching over Kakashi and making sure he was okay but has slowly been losing his actual personality over the years and is becoming more malevolent and poltergeist-y  :p Kakashi has to figure out how to help him move on .
