You both tend to end up in the library

You were looking for a new linguistics book, while Lin was looking for another book on crests

He happens to stumble upon one that he’s never read, but it’s in another language

He went to go find Petra, but she can’t read it

He gets referred to you after asking around some more

You knew a bit of the language, but needed to study some more

So now you two meet up in the library to start translating the book

That’s when you first start to drop your mask

He didn’t mind the new side to you as he knew it meant you trusted him more

Once the final mask fell

Oh boy

He thought he knew you pretty well, but sometimes you say things and Lin, for once in his life, has to take a break from his studies to just stare at you

He wants to create a list of all the weird things you say as if to prove to people he’s not making it up

Caspar insists that you would never say anything like that since you’re so quiet

Once you two finish translating the book, it feels weird to not have those little library dates so to fix it, you two go on an actual date

It’s nothing too exciting, just stargazing at night since that’s when Linhardt is actually awake

He begins to show you some of the constellations he can name

In return you start to tell him the stories behind the constellations and begin to ramble about how different cultures have different stories but how similar they can be

He’s loves how your voice changes when telling a story and encourages you to create your own stories

You stepped out of Yoonbins Charger and shot him a small smile as you stepped into your home. It felt like everything that happened that day had thrown you in the washer of feelings to be rung out with one conclusion, but for now you were all sudzy. Jihoon had feelings for you this entire time and you NEVER noticed? Yoonbin KNEW about this and said Nothing? You didn’t know whether to feel sad or happy, so you felt both and neither. As your phone buzzed you pulled it out of your pocket to look at the message you recieved and saw it was 9pm already. Ignoring the message you yawned and crept up the stairs tiredly. After brushing your teeth and changing into night clothes you laid in bed and felt your phone buzz, again you decided to ignore the message and just go to sleep.

Yoonbin texted you that morning to let you know he would pick you up, and that made you slump out of the bed and start your routine. Throwing on some clothes and accidentally looking cute, you brushed your teeth and fixed your hair as Yoonbin texted again to announce he had arrived. Once you got to school you saw the theatre girl and Jihoon chatting by your table, and you sighed loudly causing Yoonbin to follow your eyes. “What happe- Oh.” He cut himself off quickly realizing what had upset you. You walked over and sat beside him, quickly unlocking your phone sending him a “I’m sorry, please we need to talk.” His phone buzzed and your name appeared as ‘Softie 💞’ and he immediately flipped his phone over as the theatre girl attempted to look to his screen. You grinned cheekily and gave his hand a squeeze before hurrying off to your first class.

‘What did you do ?’ Hoon asked Yoonbin

‘What do you mean’ He scribbled onto the small paper.

‘She spoke to me this morning and she touched my hand and walked off really happy. Did you tell her anything?’ Jiji wrote smiling a bit.

‘I didn’t tell her anything, but you told her pretty much everything she needed to know yesterday.’ Yoonbin wrote and slid it back to Jihoon.

The bell rung and they gathered their stuff, and began walking to lunch. Jihoon’s phone buzzed again and he looked at it to see your name

‘saved us our table! can you get me some water? thank you xox’ He couldn’t help but grin to himself, which Yoonbin noticed.

“You guys are disgusting, I love it.” They chuckled and headed to the table you had saved. After getting their food Jihoon sat next to you and you guys texted back and forth as you “listened” to Yoonbin talk.

You leaned over to Jihoon and kissed his cheek softly, causing him to blush red as an apple. You laced your fingers with his and laid your head on his shoulder and with that you two became an item. Jihoon started taking you home and taking you on random spontaneous dates. Everything was amazing. You had the guy, the best friend, and plenty of ice cream and covers for the days Jihoon just wanted to cuddle. You couldn’t imagine being with anyone but him...

She couldn’t either.
