You pick me up, or I you, and we go out to dinner. I’m down to eat or try anything, so I let you decide where we go—unless you’re someone who’d prefer I pick, then I’d probably go with Mexican, Sushi, Thai, or Vietnamese (phö specifically lol). After that we’d go to a local bookstore or mall and just roam and talk about stuff we like and show each other things we find. After that we could just drive around and eventually find a good place to enjoy the sunset together—maybe we could get ice cream or drinks along the way. If neither of us are tired and we enjoy each other’s company, then we could go back to one of our places and either play video games, watch a movie, or just chat (maybe a mix of all three lol). If there’s clear mutual interest and you include some cute body contact during the night (e.g., hand on my leg, holding hands, arm around my shoulder, shoulder rub, etc.) I will more than likely melt 🥴 And if we both had a good time, hopefully there’d be a date #2 💕

Back in my heyday of anime watching (middle to high school) back when anime on the internet was so much easier to access 🥺 there was still a relatively small collection on Crunchyroll, so there’s some shows I’ve watched and really enjoyed that I never hear anyone talk about. One is Beast Player Erin.
I’m having trouble even knowing where to start with this one! Based in more of an era of kingdoms—pre-Industrial Rev. I believe—the world is fairly mundane with a few exceptions. While I don’t recall any blatant magic, there are a few magical experiences. More importantly though, there are two beasts in this world: the Toda and the Oju.
Erin grows up with her mother in a village where the Toda are raised (if I remember correctly) and her mom is the beast trainer of the village. The Toda, which are large semi-aquatic reptiles with dragon-like faces, are trained by the two warring local kingdoms to fight each other (Idk if the mom raised them for this tho).
Eventually, as she gets older, Erin finds herself at a place where Oju are trained. Oju are winged beasts like griffons but with a wolf’s head. The Oju, know as Royal Beasts, are also trained to fight in the war. As a trainer of Oju, Erin eventually finds herself intertwined with the war and... well I don’t want to spoil much else 😜
I do have to admit it is a somewhat slow anime and isn’t “top tier” or the shit for everyone. But it did make me cry only a few episodes in. So... 👌🏼
Now for the other Anime!!!
Glass Mask is one of my all time favorite anime. It’s about this basic girl who gets shat on by everyone and her mom’s like “Maya why are you so dumb and worthless” *starts sobbing* cause the only thing she’s good at is memorizing scenes on TV and perfectly reenacting them 😩
So at some point she gets noticed by this mysterious older woman who is opening up an acting studio and eventually is convinced to join cause she has ✨the it factor✨
Eventually she becomes rivals with this rich dynasty prodigy child and they’re both so cunt 💕 (honorary)
But just wait til you meet Mr. Purple Roses, Maya’s secret fan/admirer who helps her occasionally along her journey.
And honestly I stan the performances they do. Like this show is how I’m familiar with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Wuthering Heights, Little Women, that play about the feral girl, and even the story of Hellen Keller!!
Omg and the drama of the impromptu one-woman play! And then old bitch sticks her hand out and people in the audience be SHOOK!!! And OMG then there’s the school performances she does, and one she got the role of dumb bitch but then she cried during the play and the audience shit themselves they were so STRICKEN!!! And that other one as the queen’s understudy where she darted eyes at a bitch and sis PISSED herself on stage!! And bitch there was even a scene where this bitch played a doll. And then there’s the time she fully ate dirt cause she a bad bitch!
In this show the tea isn’t spilt, it’s full on thrown. Hoes be blind af going to the movies and dying in their seats. Yes there is a questionable romance that I had weird feelings about, and yes she does get drugged and framed to ruin her career, and yes a hoe almost falls off a bridge and the other hoe’s like “but what if I don’t help her 👀”, and yes she is trained to act by getting thrown into a shed in the middle of winter, and yes she does join a troupe with a kinda genderfluid girl. And YES!! You Should watch it 😘
