read travis' GQ profile and goodness, the WAY he talks about taylor is just so kind. think she finally has someone who understands her fully and does not hold her career against her and does not see his support towards her profession as a favour, but rather reveres her for what she has managed to do. i don't think her past partners were necessarily “bad people;” i just think that they resented her. he does not separate taylor and Taylor Swift and force her to be 2 different people, but rather he looks at her life as a normal life with very unique challenges (which he compartmentalizes) and figures out a way for them to just be humans despite all the dehumanization surrounding them.

I just hope she is online and sees how much impact her music has. That this isn't just exciting for her but also for us. All the memories we made with those songs, music videos and concept through so many years. We supported her during the Taylor's Version Era but I hope she also knows it isn't just the excitement of something new and shiny that we can consume for us. It's all the memories, tears of sadness and joy, ups and downs that are part of her journey. A song from 2010? An album cover from 2014? These still feel exciting to me and I never stopped loving them. I am just so happy that they belong to the person who created them now. If you're not a swiftie it might be a weird thing to understand. They have never been deleted, they have always been there, wouldn't a shiny new version be better? No, those are memories, mine, Taylor's, OURS.
