Man down || Rogan & Aiden
Rubbing sleep from his eyes as he shuffled down the corridor, for once Rogan actually felt like he could potentially function in society. Not that he’d be mentioning it to ‘his’ doctor but after four days spent in a zombie-like state, drugs they’d pumped him full of had vastly improved...well most things. Once he’d woken up the first place he wanted to be was on a track, the rythmic thumping of his feet along to his heart lulling him into a place of serenity, his only place of serenity. Of course, that wasn’t an option so he’d decided upon some form of human contact as second best.
Realistically, he knew he had absolutely no idea where he was going, no real sense of direction, and was surrounded by a group of complete strangers with potentially dangerous ailments but he’d never had much trouble making friends before and he figured the cafeteria was a safe bet for finding someone considering food was a necessity, so off he went. Following the illuminated signs conveniently placed all over the building, he made his way through several identical hallways and was soon quickly approaching said cafeteria. That was until he encountered an obstacle...specifically the solid form of another person. As if the fact he’d run straight into someone wasn’t bad enough he’d managed to actually trip over this person and end up rather harshly hitting the ground, gritting his teeth as ripples of pain radiated from his tailbone. Shit.
“My apologies, dude, it seems I’ve managed to forget my common sense back in Pittsburg,” brushing the dirt from his hands, he glanced up at the obstacle, assessing their reaction and forming some sort of plan to charm his way through this accident.
