🔥 - To sit in front of the fireplace with my muse
M U S EIvory ( Table For Two )
“I often wonder.......what it would be like to feel the warmth of a fire. Sometimes.....I wish I were not dead.”
Dead was an odd term for her. She was technically dead but also not? It was complicated. Being a vampire was complicated. Heck, being her was complicated. But thankfully he didn’t mind it. He. Her favorite waiter. The most handsome waiter in all the world. At least in her opinion.
The fire. The cabin. They were sitting on a plush couch in the cabin located in the magical satchel she had given him a long time ago. Thankfully Moonie had managed to find it after the poor boy had disappeared out of nowhere for so long. Gosh those were times she did not care to recall so freshly. As if they had just happened yesterday or something.
Snuggling closer to him, she realized that she would probably only defeat the purpose of starting the fire in the first place. But at least it would sort of help dull the cold chill her skin gave off. The constant cold chill her skin gave off. Never ever would her skin feel even remotely warm. And even to this day, she couldn’t understand how the handsome waiter could be so comfortable hugging her and even cuddling her. Didn’t he ever get cold?
“I suppose tis no different than your fellow mortals wondering what it would be like to be a vampire. If I could, I would tell the world that it tis awful and to never wish it upon themselves.”
Nodding firmly, she rested her head on his chest and watched the flames dance naturally before twisting her fingers and making the flames suddenly form into different animals. Animals such as foxes and bears. Even deer. They all danced among the logs of wood she had chopped earlier. Well chopped meaning using her magic but still.
“It means the world to me that you accept me as I am. But please know that I accept you just the same. No matter how scarred you are, your scars are mine and mine are yours. We are one person, Taeyong. I love you so much. Never forget this.”
She leaned up and kissed his jawline gently in a loving manner before resting her head once more. It was a conversation they had often but she just couldn’t thank him enough. Acceptance was hard to come back. Especially given what she was.
