Finally! My mug is telling the truth. MLIS obtained.
This is the summary of Guards! Guards! from the BBC Radio Drama Collection, and I don’t even ... :
In Ankh-Morpork, the Haves and the Have-Nots are about fall out. It’s time, so sober up.
My brain is “about fall out”. WHO WROTE THIS? Who thought “Yes, this definitely creates an enticing and clear idea of what this book is about for potential readers.” WHO FAILED TO NOTICE THE MISSING “to”?
... Okay, so I checked the collection on Audible and they have a longer version of the summary, which is a little better but manages to contain a second mistake instead:
In Ankh-Morpork, the Haves and the Have-Nots are about fall out. Again. The Night Watch’s Captain Vimes is used to this but when the Have-Nots find the key to a lethal, dormant weapon that even they don’t understand, he knows it’s time so sober up.
WHY DO YOU PEOPLE HATE THE WORD “to”? Is there a limit of one “to” for summaries?
... also I still don’t consider that a good sales-pitch for Guards! Guards!. Where’s the hilarity? The shenanigans? The dragon!
Shelves zucchini on your bookshelves.
I need to give this a think. Where does zucchini get catalogued? Where do I put the spine label?
I'm taking an education course this semester focused on Adolescent Literacy and it's already killing me slowly. There was no "test out" option.
Video Lecture: "You have to understand that there's not just one type of literacy and that they're situationally driven discourses"

straight play showdown pollrunner here - your tags made me laugh because the title comes from the term "straight play" is a way to differentiate plays from musicals (since both can be considered plays)... i did not think about people seeing that & seeing straight in the sexuality sense! you ARE right though, those are hardly straight plays.
Oh, I know! I couldn't decide if it was a deliberate pun or not but it made me giggle so I had to comment.
Also your normal url is pretty great!
