R.I.P. (here is your chance to get even ^^)
She didn’t know where she was.
Smoke and rubble filled her vision and she coughed, sendingblood splattering down her chest. She blinked dirt from her eyes and tried todetermine feeling in her limbs, finding her hand caught on something, she washolding someone’s hand, Raph’s hand. A relieved sob escaped her lips a shetightened her grip on him, but he didn’t squeeze back. The demon lay on hisback, hair covered soaked in blood and tiny pieces of rubble while his face wasashen from dust, a small trail of blood dripping down his forehead. She tugged on his hand. “Raph?” Her voice wasbroken, dry and she felt like screaming when he didn’t answer her. What hadgone so wrong that it had ended up like this, it had been a whirlwind of fighting,Raph trying to get her to run and her refusing and now, Raph wasn’t answering. “Raphplease, please tell me you’re okay, I don’t want to be here alone.”
She tried to sit up, but a blinding pain emerged from herleg and a cry escaped her lips and she looked down, seeing the majority of herleg under a slab of concrete. Panic began to set in and she coughed again, tears dripping down her face as she begged the man she loved to wake up. “Raphyou have to wake up, you can’t— you need to wake up, I have something importantto tell you and I’ll be angry as all hell if you miss it.”
“Hey Raph, bet you didn’t know I dyed my hair.”
“When we get out of here you’re gonna make me that weirdpasta thing you made last week, it was delicious.”
“So there’s a poor old Labrador in that shelter I might havegone to last week, we’re adopting him, just so you know.”
“I feel like I’m going to throw up and it’s your fault.”
“Okay fine, I did break your CD, but technically Montychewed on it first. I also found his sock stash. It’s behind the brown sofa.”
“You’re going to be so excited when I tell you what I’mgonna tell you, just you wait. You’ll be seeing double for ages.”
After what seemed like hours of fading consciousness andspells of pain she heard movement, people calling for survivors. She managed toscream, to call for their help and by the time they reached her and Raph, shewas already slipping away.

“Miss,” The doctor was young, and Konan stared at himblankly for a moment, causing him to repeat himself. “Miss.”
She finally nodded. “Konan... Thomas.” The only sound in the room was the doctorscribbling something on a form and the shaky beeping of the heart monitor, something that had at first concerned the doctors, right up until they realisedthat she wasn’t going into cardiac arrest. “Where’s Raph? I want... I want tosee him. I have to tell him something.”
“That was the man you were with? The paramedics and fire crewfound you together.” The doctor asked, pausing his writing to look up at her.
“Yes, yes that’s him, where is he? Is he awake yet?” Hervoice was desperate, and the doctor gave her that look, the one she neverwanted to see. She shook her head for a moment. “Where is he?”
“I’m sorry, we did everything we could—”
“Where is my husband?”
“He was already dead by the time we reached you , I’m sorry.”
Tears slid down her face and dripped onto the bed sheet, andshe covered her mouth to stop herself from erupting into sobs. “No, no he’snot. You’re lying, he can’t be, he’s not—” Her words were muffled by her hand, and she couldn’t even finish her sentences. Raph was not dead, he couldn’t be.She was the one with a weak heart, she was the one who was going to die first, not him, never him. The doctor gave her a look of sympathy and set hisclipboard down on the table.
“Your scan was normal, there were no abnormalities despitethe trauma. Your twins will be just fine, but we’re going to keep you in for a weekor two so we know that you’re healing up okay.” With that the doctor left theroom, leaving Konan to openly sob.
Completely and utterly alone.

Just got back from watching this demon spawn child but at least the father paid well for the difficulty in getting this kid to go to bed? I made $40 for just over three hours of work and most of it I was watching YouTube videos and variety shows.
