Nám zbývá naděje, my byli jsme a budem 🏳️⚧️
Rád bych k tomu po sledování skoro celého jednání ale podotknul: ve vícero případech se senátoři vyjadřovali k emailům, které od voličů dostávali. Myslím, že nám to neskutečně pomohlo. Balík prohlásil, že emaily dostával ze stran příznivců i odpůrců návrhu, ale zatímco emaily příznivců měly mnohem víc rysy organizované kampaně (ctrl c + ctrl v), od odpůrců dostával spíše osobní vyjádření a autentické příběhy, kterým naslouchal. Bednář vystoupil vyloženě s tím, že je rozpolcený a že ho oslovily osobní příběhy, které si od trans lidí pročítal. A dokonce Paparega jakožto jeden z navrhovatelů přiznal, že za to dostal v mailech bídu a snad jen dva jeho návrh schvalovali - zbytek byla kritika. Sám pak ten návrh navrhl k přepracování. Bylo toho víc.
Chci tedy říct, že to sakra mělo smysl a ukázalo se, jakou máme sílu. Zapamatujme si to. Jak už tu zaznělo dříve, tihle si jen tak pokoj nedají a za nějakou dobu to nejspíš budou zkoušet znovu. Buďme připravení i příště.
Obvykle seriózní posty nepíšu, ale jsem na nás tak sakra pyšnej.
A možná ještě dodatek: kdo jste povzbuzení úspěchem a chtělo by se vám ještě něco psát, zvažte děkovný mail senátorům, které jste oslovili a kteří hlasovali pro zamítnutí návrhu, pokud jste to už neudělali - za to, že vás zastoupili.
A zároveň si myslím, že si nějaké slovo uznání a děkovný vzkaz zaslouží i Paparega a Slabý, kteří, byť mezi navrhovateli, byli schopní ustoupit v průběhu debaty a uznat, že by to mělo být více konzultováno a odborníky a těmi, kterých se to týká (popř. si do nich můžete rýpnout s tím, že věříte, že po této zkušenosti v této věci do budoucna nebudou podporovat nic, co není silně podpořeno názorem odborníka a otevřenou diskuzí s trans lidmi o tom, co skutečně potřebují). Fakt nepochybuju, že podobná klauniáda se bude v budoucnu opakovat. Ale pokud si nás a naši odezvu zapamatujou, včetně toho, že jsme jim poslali děkovnou pusinku na čelíčko za to, že jednou nebyli kokoti, třeba budou ochotnější tomuto tématu naslouchat víc a podobné pokusy zvládnou udusit už v zárodku.
Ukrajina! Kultura! Knihy! Knihovna!
Letos v květnu byla při raketovém útoku vážně poškozena Knihovna Jaroslava Moudrého v Kyjevě, národní knihovna Ukrajiny. Poničena byla střecha, skleněná kopule, okna, dveře i fasáda historické budovy, která je součástí ukrajinského kulturního dědictví. Knihovna nyní vyhlásila sbírku na neodkladné opravy.

Rozjíždí se kampaň proti veletrhu se špionážním software v Praze, přítomny budou mimo jiné izraelské společnosti.

Hlavním sponzorem veletrhu je NSO Group, která vyvinula software Pegasus. Ten přemění Váš mobilní telefon na špehovací zařízení, které nepřetržitě monitoruje celý váš život - včetně zašifrovaných zpráv, fotek, hovorů, polohových dat a dokáže bez povšimnutí zapnout vaši kameru a mikrofon. Tato data pak odešle komukoli, kdo si spyware na veletrhu ISS koupí. Pegasus je intentzivně používán po celém světě k represi opozičních politiků, diplomatů a aktivistů i prostých občanů.
