The tldr rn, as I am still working on it with help from some friends input at the same time <3, but alt marks name is now Judas !!!! He, like Brutus, was created by Gabriel by taking memories from Mark's soul and putting them in an alternate. Gabriel however specifically picks Mark's last few days memories and his anger and puts them into Judas.
Judas doesn't know who he is, but all he knows is he feels RAGE. It's why he hunts down Sarah and Brutus and attacks them, because Brutus KILLED HIM and Sarah betrayed him by befriending him. Brutus throws him out a window and he's badly injured, he crawls away to recover. He sprouts wings during that btw.
Evelin, who's a cop at this point, is called in to investigate what happens and finds Judas. She's like ugh.. ok. And drags him home, gives him his new name, and starts to help him realize he's not the owner of that rage and can be more than that.
