Ya know, there are days where you just feel like absolute shit.
Then all you really have to do is remember that at least one follower you have on any real social media, be it someone you know strictly online, an IRL friend you convinced to follow you or even just someone you haven't ever interacted with directly but see consistently on your feed?
They're happy to see you. You make a genuine difference, no matter how small, to their experience here. To their day. To their life. It may not be grand. It may only be a small smile they needed then, or a bridge to follow another person. But even a tiny little stepping stone like that feels good to take.
this feeling... is this the power of self-confidence?!
i really do miss traditional art though...i used to do watercolors and pastels and charcoal and i miss all the paper towels and rinsing my brush out and mixing paint and the whole process of cleaning the area when i was done felt meditative. watching all the colors wash away...or not wash away in more unfortunate situations...agh...miss it all i miss it all
