i will say, it IS hilarious. like objectively. imagine being SO homophobic that you LITERALLY write about how not just bls in general but very specific bls made you popular worldwide, and then have the fucking AUDACITY to not bring a SINGLE bl (or gl, for that matter) to the event. not only that, but to also have the balls to bring in a series that's not even out yet and that has no guarantee of succeeding. but it's a remake and there are no gay people in it, so i guess that's better than bringing any of those queers that BY OUR OWN ADMISSION, SINGLE-HANDEDLY MADE US POPUPAR.
