Let me explain why do I love Ukraine’s song that much and why am I so happy for their win.
Firstly; if we really consider the perfomers singing skills, Jamala is freaking awesome. That scream in the middle of the song gives me shivers, i can feel so many people pain in her voice.
Secondly, the chorus, which is kinda like this in english:
"I couldn't spend my youth there Because you took away my peace I couldn't spend my youth there Because you took away my peace I couldn't spend my youth there I didn't have my country."
It’s personal though, but the last two line stands really close to me because I love my own country (Hungary), but our situation sucks so much i thinking way too much about leaving my home. And that two line is just what i feel about this.
Also, it fits so good for MGS and Raiden, it’s awesome.
