I was drawing something else but I’ve seen quite a number of those posts (Arvis/Julia shouldnt be in this father/daughter VG because of their abusive relationship, it should’ve been Sigurd e.t.c.) floating around and they made me a little bit upset.

Please please PLEASE dont say that! Just that he’s a “villain” and she is a “hero”, doesnt mean they hate each other. Sure, Arvis has done bad things, but raising Julia wasn’t one of them.

Julia didnt leave home because of “abusive household” or anything related to Arvis, but rather to avoid being killed by recently possessed Julius (being his most glaring weakness) who went out of everyone’s control. The whole thing about Arvis unknowingly marrying his sister was a part of an elaborate ploy of Loptyrian cult to resurrect their god, so was giving Julius the tome of Loptyr. Arvis’ (and Deirdre’s) only fault here is being born with that cursed blood. He did his best to raise both Julia and Julius as decent people and had good relationship with them both. It’s just a dragon ruining everything as always.

I’ve seen stuff like “Even Garon would be better” like ?????? He literally wanted Corrin only as a weapon, tried to kill her when in a bad mood, and his other children were in a situation where they had to kill each other? What have Arvis done to Julia in the eyes of you guys making him top THAT? 

And oh. What does Sigurd have to do with Julia at all? Not only he ISNT her actual father, but he never EVER met her, because he died by the time Julia had a chance to talk to him. Yes, that’s cause Arvis killed him. But it doesnt change anything.

So, dear FEH fandom, please, respect Arvis as a good dad to Julia and support him (or Julia!) in VG!

What an unexpected end to the night.

You'll be okay, though. Not to sound pretentious or insensitive, but... honestly, I don't think a hurricane could knock you down. You're stronger than this, and your heart's in the right place. I can only hope that you know all the things you need to do to make things better, and that you get it done soon. God knows that a day never passes without you crossing my mind some time or another.
