I'm apparently the only one unhappy with Generation to Generation so I'll put my rant under the jump but this drama is on probation again
For the drama to make it that Mu Qingyan got captured on purpose! He would NEVER get captured on purpose. Being imprisoned is his #1 fear. They also very almost killed him just in the capture part. It's madness.

With a series of clangs from above and all sides, five massive iron grilles forged from dark iron instantly closed around him, trapping him inside!
The book was more of a comedy and like, "Lol, she wants to be normal but a demon lord is following her around like a puppy." But this is like, he's super possessive in a more toxic way… I don't know. I don't like this ship and I loved it in the novel.
I'm giving it one more day because maybe the saving part will be great but... side eye
Edit: also, he's insane in the novel, but not THIS level of insane. Loving her is supposed to make him want to live
