hi. i'm quitting rwuffles.

uh, this isn't because of anyone or any one event in particular; i just am. i don't want to run the blog anymore and it has come to stress me out more than it has help me cope—which, coining was a coping mechanism for me. becoming a "big public figure" in mogai spaces has just kind of stressed me out to a degree that like... i don't like. i want to enjoy coining. but, right now, here, i don't.

i don't wanna stop coining entirely. i'm probably gonna start a new blog and coin there, instead. but, with the way i've been running rwuffles: i've been treating it more like a job or a responsibility than something for fun. i'll continue posting on @genderlessly, too, and making videos. that's fun. that's fun for me. it just takes a lot a lot a lot of time to do. so, uh, yeah.

if i do make a new blog, feel free to drop by and say hi. but for now? uh. bye 👋

Okay, the thing that annoys me with Eddie's arc specifically, and if this makes me a toxic Eddie Stan so be it, is that even tho the show wants us to forget this, we're in this predicament because of the vertigo thing. Tim went on record about how he knew didn't have the time to execute it but did it anyway. They had to send Ryan in multiple interviews to try and make that make sense. And they committed. They send Chris to Texas. No significant movement happened on that front for all of 8a. And don't tell me Eddie needed to work on himself because the only reason he needed to work on himself is because they decided to throw a grenade on him in the shape of his dead wife, season 5 Eddie did the being more open with Chris, he did the therapy, he did the working on his relationship with his dad. He was in a good place. Then he wasn't. For no fucking reason. They didn't deal with the actual problem they created with Tim's desire to bring Devin back. Because they said just kidding, that part does not matter, this is about family when he didn't have those problems with Chris. Sure, his parents were always gonna try to steal Chris, but fucking hell they didn't have to make it happen like this. And then they made everything surrounding actually leaving on Buck's pov. Which is great for the buddie of it all. Not that great for the Eddie of it all because since we are seeing the situation through Buck's eyes, we don't really know how Eddie felt about the situation. But sure. We got to Texas. Of course he's in the torment nexus. Of course he can't be a firefighter. Of course his parents are demons. But we solved that. And Chris is home now. The thing that he was supposed to do was done. But the move is only framed as permanent for Buck's benefit. Eddie could've rented a house. But sure, Eddie now has a stupid Prius and a house in Texas and the family he chose and was forced to leave is all dying. And all dying in a situation where Eddie is the perfect piece to help. BUT HE'S NOT FUCKING THERE. Because his storyline has been playing out for a year and this is so fucking stupid. Do something with Eddie that's not exactly what you did to him in s5. Because if nothing different happens then what was the fucking point of letting everyone believe that Chris walked in on him fucking Kim doggystyle on the couch when they cut the fucking kiss.
