Nitw doodle dump. I was working on some expressions + some selmers interaction with my oc (I'm not shipping myself with her I just like her...a lot XD)
I am absolute trash for my own self-insert ship and I have TONS of headcannons. It’s a problem.
-They will randomly swap jackets sometimes, just for fun.
-Shane broke through Emma's cold and harsh exterior rather quickly and realized she is someone who just wants everyone she cares about to be happy.
-It doesn't matter how long they've been together, they still blush like crazy around each other and get salty if someone mentions it.
-Emma lovingly mocks him for his need to be strategic about everything he does.
-They will both deny it if someone says they are cute together.
-They cook and bake together a lot and bring it to their friends to taste their cooking.
-They spend time on the rooftop almost every evening during the week and just talk about the flowers and anything else that comes to mind.
-Emma's passion for retro games and anything relating to old school gaming never fails to put a smile on Shane's face.
-They only go to restaurants together on certain occasions because Emma can order half the menu and eat all of it.
-With the help of Shane and the rest of the Treblemakers Emma expanded her friendship to all of the Normal Boots and Hidden Block clubs.
-They both try to make each other leave their comfort zones at least once a day and try something new.
-Emma loves to run her hand through Shane's hair, and Shane lets her because it makes her happy and it feels nice.
So, I’ve had this story saved for a while. A few friends and I ended up braintstorming a universe where the incubi boys are human and their LI’s are royalty. This one of the variants that came about.
Also, note: The Fae in here refers to me/my self insert and not the SM2 character.
“Matthew…”
It’s embarrassing how breathless her voice comes out, but she can’t help it. Here she is, on the Longest of Nights, the one holiday she had always dreamed of participating in, and for the first time, she is not locked away in her rooms, but it is the only place she wants to be, because he’s standing before her. Not just that, Matthew is looking at her like she’s the sun, moon, and stars all in one, and it’s such a rush that she’s feeling light headed.
Fae’s hands tremble as she reaches for the hem of Matthew’s shirt. It’s a lovely blue silk that is a far cry from the rough, dirt stained wool he wore when she first encountered him. Slowly she tries to pull it up off him, but she can’t with how her fingers are shaking, so she gives up, sliding her hands under the fabric instead, resting her palms against his warm stomach.
“Are you nervous?” He asks, a laugh in his voice that both embarasses her and reassures her. He’s smiling, his hands at his side to make things easier for her.
“Yes…” She admits, looking down. This is the first time she’s been close to a man on the Longest of Nights, having been told she would need to wait until an engagement to participate. It’s the first time she’ll be close to Matthew like this, without needing to rush or worrying about getting caught for once.
There are things Fae knows she should be doing. Ashe taught her all about how to please her future husband. All that has disappeared from her mind though, when faced with Matthew.
“You don’t need to be, I promise.” He tilts her chin up with a finger and he’s smiling at her, sending butterflies through her stomach. “We’ve got time tonight, don’t we?” He doesn’t wait for her to respond before continuing. “How about...I can take the lead, until you feel more comfortable? This isn’t my first time…”
While such an admission should upset her, Fae just finds herself with a sense of relief, because thank god one of them knows what they are doing. “Yes...Please…”
“Okay, then…I need to you to try and relax and trust me.” Matthew’s voice is soothing, but she notices the hint of nervousness in his voice as well. “Let’s go back to the basics…” Closing his eyes, he leans in and brushes his lips against hers, gently at first, reminding her of the first soft, stolen kisses on the balcony of Diana’s palace.
As Fae finds herself relaxing and moving her hands from under his shirt so that she can wrap her arms around his neck, she finds the sweet brushes turn into something deeper, yet playful, Matthew’s tongue slipping into her mouth and rubbing against her own before darting away. It makes her want to chase after it with her own. Timidly, she does so, earning an approving groan from Matthew as his hand slides to the back of her neck, curling around it.
The feel of his hand soothes her even more and the princess moves closer until she can feel his chest against hers, the heat from his body seeping through their clothing.
Matthew is the one to break the chain of kisses, pressing his forehead against hers and letting out a soft sigh mixed with a chuckle that makes Fae feel weak in the best way possible.
“You always taste so sweet,” he murmurs, tongue peeking out between his lips and running over them. Fae isn’t entirely sure her blush remains only on her face as he continues, “Like those little cookies you always like to eat. They are my favorite because they taste like you.”
With a squeak, Fae hides her burning face in his chest, not wanting for him to see her face like that.
Unfortunately, it only seems to make Matthew laugh and wrap his other arm around her back, the hand resting against the top of her corset. “You’re too cute…” The laugh fades and his hold grows tighter as she hears him say, “I never thought I would ever be standing here, holding you like this… But, I’m so glad I am, Fae.”
“I’m glad you’re with me too,” she murmurs, looking up and pressing a kiss on the underside of his chin, watching as his face takes on the red hue hers did earlier. “I have never wanted anyone more.”
The blush seems to travel to his ears. “I’m really happy to hear that.” He lets go of her and pulls back, seeming to drink in the sight of her before placing a hand on her waist, against the decorative corset she has on.
“Can I remove this? It looks amazing on you, but I think you’ll be more comfortable the sooner it gets removed.”
Gulping, Fae slowly nods and his hands glide to the front, fingers undoing the bow tying the laces together and then, far too slowly for Fae’s liking, pulling the laces free from the eyelets, drawing it out.
“Got it,” he whispers, pulling the lace free from the final two eyelets and the corset falls to the floor. It’s easier for Fae to breathe now, but not for long as Matthew’s hands run over the space the corset had been.
“Matthew…” Her nerves and excitement start to return because this is one step closer, but Matthew just smiles and reaches for her hands, leading her back towards the bed.
