DIVERGENCIES TO NOTE.

thor has been on earth a few times.  its implied that thor would take journeys to earth for the simple pleasure of enjoying the fact that he is worshipped as a god. i’ve always thought he would do this during the viking era. he was still  a fairly young god , completely enthralled with the attention of being worshipped. he would roam the earth basking in the attention while completely hiding his identity .  requests and prayers would be heeded and he would flourish crops and create storms for those in need .  he eventually returned to asgard where he stayed for a long time with occasional visits over the years. most notably during the 1940s and again during the run of the first thor.

in my timeline he does not get into a romantic relationship with jane. it almost happens but there is too much happening for them to move to that next step and they remain friends. everything that happened definitely happened except for their romantic moments. he did everything he did because he does actually care for her but just not on that level . to me the relationship was quite forced and lacked the chemistry i crave.  i will still rp with jane rpers. i do not hate jane at all i just don’t think her and thor are romantically compatible.

the end of endgame does not feature thor leaving new asgard and heading off with the guardians. as fun as that is and i will still do threads based on it, for me , it feels a little too ooc . after everything he’s done for his people and everything he’s sacrificed and lost just simply leaving the rest of his people doesn’t feel right. valkyrie can still be king and they can still side by side. he just wants the chance to fix his screw ups and be the king that his people deserve . she did a lot for the benefit of their people and he would never want to take that away from her. but ultimately he stays and still finds ways to help find himself and who he is while beginning the healing process .

also if we are not shipping then this blog’s main ship will be with loialte’s Steve.  so shae’s portrayal can and might pop up in threads .
