Realized not everyone knows what a flat cap is lol that's not the word I usually use for it either, I was always told to call it an Irish cap, but when I looked it up I was told by wikipedia that the "more common term" is flat cap. I am silly and got lied to. Anyway this is what a flat/Irish cap is:
I'm going to be honest, G.I. is wearing one because my Pawpaw wears one and I just associate that with being a nice old man who knows a lot about World War II. It's the same with the slip on shoes because I think he'd have some nice ones and my Pawpaw's got some of the best men's shoes I've ever seen with no laces and they look fucking comfy too
Phosphorus had a much sillier inspo for his aesthetic...Kermit the Frog. I wanted them to have very different "old man" vibes and this was just funny to me. I thought I saw a picture of Kermit with a big coat and beanie, looked at it again, realized it's a fedora, and I'm not putting Phosphorus in that so no fedora for you. Also, I highly doubt Belle Reve is giving them the highest fashion for their missions, so while the Bride LOOKS incredible in her red overcoat, it was probably thrifted. I went with stuff that you could probably get for cheap but look nice enough for high profile clients as a result.
