nico and leo have severe eating issues in hoh and it is completely overlooked.
two lines i remember vividly-- jason sees nico eating a grape at breakfast and comments that it'll probably be all he'll eat that day. note-- not verbally, but it was a line written from jason's perspective. then, leo in ogygia is told by calypso that he hasn't eaten in two days.
both times this is treated like a joke. both of these characters are canonically underweight. leo's is probably a body type thing, since he's always been described as scrawny outside of these periods and only goes without eating becaude of hyperfixation on his work. but nico? i can't recall him being described as scrawny when he was happy and healthy with bianca. i can assume him being underweight can be attributed directly to his behaviour of not eating.
even if they arent or weren't underweight directly because of this behavior-- it's still NOT OKAY behaviour? and the books still treat it like a JOKE. im so upset i can't do this
It feels so backwards that the books written in the 80s have Monica leave her husband and live happily ever after with Dame Enid but the adaptation made in 2026 decided to kill her off instead :/
Titan drew Cosmos, but after a while, Cosmo discovered more drawings. Titan got a slap on the back of the head, though... more hugs
I was given an idea and I decided to draw it (I really understood the idea about French girls, so I decided to just draw it as it turned out, huh)
FMEOOOOOOOWCK, I MISSED SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FISH
I couldn't pull it out and it snapped at the last moment
It makes my heart bleed, it would be my biggest fish 😭
i'm fucking livid. kibum is a victim of malpractice, but he's having to apologise??? he's the one who's had to leave jobs?? he should be suing the hospital!
Can't escape people (including other trans guys) calling phalloplasty disgusting and horrid on any platform or even in real life
I hate y'all.
God forbid I want a penis. God forbid I NEED a penis. If I don't get phalloplasty I will kill myself. Straight up. 100%. But apparently that doesn't matter cuz everyone and they momma thinks I'm better off without a "disgusting flesh tube that doesn't even work the same"
What are you gonna do after I get it huh? What are you gonna do when I enjoy it? When whomever I have sex with enjoys it? You still gonna call me disgusting when my fat cock is so far up somebody's ass they can feel it in their throat?
Get a fucking life omg
I feel like the Tokyo Ghoul anime made Tsukiyama not be appreciated by people as he really should be, and his emotions for Kaneki beyond seeing him as food felt forced, Root A ruined his character, let me explain:
Tsukiyama became interested in Kaneki due to the aroma, yearning to eat him, and approached him at Kamii University, lured Kaneki to the ghoul restaurant ghoul restaurant, then kidnapped Kimi and lured him to the church, all with the intention of eating him.
The problem starts in the 2nd season, Kaneki, who was kidnapped by Aogiri and tortured by Jason, Anteiku ghouls, Tsukiyama and Uta, went to rescue Kaneki, Shuu still has a great interest in eating Kaneki.
After Kaneki leaves, he became a member of Aogiri, but in the manga, he forms a group with Banjou, Hinami, Sante, Jiro, Ichimi, and obviously: Tsukiyama.
Tsukiyama offered to be Kaneki's "sword", he prepared the hideout, helped Kaneki with information and missions, they trained together, they became really close. Tsukiyama's feelings changing perspective and he became attached to Kaneki much more than just being his food, he used Hinami to try to gain Ken's trust, but it was just a pretext, he really cared about him and wanted to make him happy.
Kaneki said that being with Tsukiyama wasn't that bad and he was actually touched by his words because his feelings for Kaneki grew.
And we arrive at the fateful moment where Tsukiyama tries to stop Kaneki from going after the CCG to protect Anteiku and who he loves, he was very afraid of losing him, but not because Kaneki was his food, but because Shuu loves him.
Root A took away significant parts of Kaneki and Tsukiyama's relationship, in just a few episodes, Tsukiyama didn't spend enough time with Kaneki, in one episode, he seemed to try to get closer to Hinami to gain Kaneki's trust (who was at Aogiri), and soon after, he appeared crying, begging him not to go. It seemed like Tsukiyama just didn't want to lose his precious food. And later, in Tokyo Ghoul: Re, Tsukiyama becomes deeply depressed because he thinks Kaneki has died, leaving everything extremely shallow. They didn't spend enough time together because Kaneki went to Aogiri. anime onlys thinks that Tsukiyama felt bad about "losing his food", they ruined his character, and as a Shuu fan, it makes me very angry, they even animated a flashback that Tsukiyama had "about those happy days with Kaneki", what days? Never happened, all these moments were deleted, that's the problem, in the anime, they were never as close as in the manga and to this day people who have seen the anime still think wrong about Shuu, they even believe in their redemption, after having gone through everything, but it still raises doubts, because it was not sufficiently in-depth as in the original material.
