there’s nothing that undoes me as much as that scene where ekko raises his head and starts swinging the clock back and forth. 

because if you’ve seen the enemy music video its so clear - beyond Powders relationships to her family? Ekko is the one who held shit together with her. they’re both small, they both look up to Vi and the way she fights and leads and want to be like her somehow. they played together. two tech geniuses with grease on their faces and dirt under their fingernails. 

so of course, when he starts wanting to “play” again, jinx gets it. like you see her laugh where seconds ago she’s mad and murderous, and she still is mad and murderous but he’s calling her out. they haven’t played that game since they were KIDS but lets play again - and its not the same at all because here its desperate and bloody and they’re doing this to kill each other because of all the shit thats happened between them but its the same game. she shoots, he swings.

its just that now, only one of them will be left standing. they can’t come back from this. but he says he wants to play one more time, and she honors the game. and they both look like they’re having fun, until they’re not.

i would like to request a hug for me over ekko and jinx cause... of all the things thats the one thats really fucking me up rn
