I wonder if I haunt your memories still, as you do mine. They say memories fade but to me they just seem to get more vivid. The deep rumble of your voice, the tender yet fierce look behind your gaze. Your gaze always reminded me of tiger when it stalks its prey. The burrowed dark bushy brows, the wrinkles in the corner of your eyes, that crooked smile, your perfectly imperfect teeth, the chuckle that came from deep within your chest, the soft sweep of your tongue across my lips, the power held behind your touch. Mm what a man you were… I could go on and on. Kill me slowly. Please. Hit me on the head so hard that my memory of you is no longer existent. Is it crazy that I still find tears rolling down my cheek when staring into thin air engulfed by our oasis that we created for ourselves. God it felt so real. Is it crazy that I live still trying to compare every guy that crosses my path against a man like you, well at least the man I thought you were, and always come out disappointed in the end? That’s not really living is it… Waking up every day missing something that was there but never really there is really not living. You stole my heart. You really did.
