I was sooo dumb and cringey (and this is fairly recently too, like 2 or 3 years ago) when I had a crush on my bff like... it hit me when we spent the weekend with my fam up north for my brothers birthday. We walked from our hotel to the canal park to watch the ships go in and out into Lake Superior and I ALMOST kissed him then, and we briefly held hands as we skipped back to the hotel after (I still don't know wtf that's about????) and like. When I dropped him off after we got home I gave him a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek and then didn't talk to him for like a week out of embarrassment. And this was before he got a job and a cell phone so we'd talk over the phone but more often than not, over skype. And I remember for a while I had Taylor swift lyrics (kill me with those green eyes baby when the lights go down/ leave me something that'll haunt me when you're not around) as my status and he was like is there something you wanna tell me?? Bc he had green eyes I made up some bs about it being someone else, like. God damn why was I like that sjdjcnsnd
