The boy watched her from the shadows, nervous and hoping she was friendly.
She squeaked in surprise, blushing a bit. "O-oh... Uum... Still mean it..." she fidgeted a bit, huffing.
Jack offered a small grin.
"Oh really?"
"If ya don't wanna tell me, 's fine. I just... 'M here if ya need any help with anythin'..."
Jack let out a slow breath.
"..Incredibly horny for a week," he said flatly, staring up at the ceiling.
She reached out, petting his cheek, a worried look on her face. "They didn't hurt ya, did they?"
Jack shook his hand, eyes glancing at her hand nervously.
"..No, I wouldn't say that."
"Jack....? Is everything okay?"
Jack smiled thinly.
"Ah! Buns! Hello uh.. yeah, everything's fine," he smiled weakly, awkwardly shifting himself.

Yeah, that would make it pretty great, huh? -she finally looked over at him, smiling- Feels good, don't it? Havin' people that care about ya around ya durin' th' holidays....
