happiness is subjective for any individual so you can’t assume having children will ”destroy their lives” or improve them. that’s not for other people to decide. what frightens me could be a great source of happiness and fulfillment for others

like honestly there's a huge stigma that comes with wanting children and a huge one with not wanting them and what it comes down to is people being uncomfortable with people with uteruses having authority over their own bodies
