Cyclohexanone prices southbound in Kolkata

On September 9, 2022, trading sources reported a fall in cyclohexanone prices in the Kolkata chemical market. It is confirmed that prices fell due to delicate regional demand. The current price of cyclohexanone for imported intact is Rs.153/Kg, a fall of Rs.2/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.155/Kg.

Dicyclopentadiene prices move down in Mumbai

On September 9 ,2022 Petrochem sources from Mumbai reported a cut in dicyclopentadiene (content: 82%) prices. Low demand for the material led to the cut in prices. Current prices are at Rs.133/kg, a cut of Rs.2/kg.last assessed price of Rs.135/kg.

Zinc oxide (99.5%) prices down in Delhi

Zinc oxide prices fell in the Delhi market today. A rapid fall in demand contributed to the price cut. Current prices of zinc oxide in Delhi are Rs.255/kg, a drop of Rs.5/Kg from the last assessed price of Rs.250/kg.

Cut in dimethyl sulfoxide prices

Dimethyl sulfoxide prices saw a sharp drop in the Delhi market today. The fall in prices was mainly on account of subdued regional buying sentiments. However, the prices are expected to maintain a balanced trend till next month. As on September 7, 2022, the domestic intact prices of dimethyl sulfoxide in Delhi stood at Rs 560 per kg, a decline of Rs 4 per kg from the previous price of Rs 564 per kg.

Naphtha gains in Japan, steady in Europe

On September 7, 2022, naphtha prices were registered to move up in Japan on account of positive buying trends in the region. However, prices remained unchanged in NW Europe. Naphtha prices increased in Japan from $666/MT to $675/MT (CFR), with a hike of $9/MT and in NW Europe prices were at $655/MT (CIF) respectively.

C9 solvent prices journey south

A significant fall in C9 solvent prices was recorded at Kandla today. Excess supply of the material led to the price fall. Today C9 solvent prices fell from Rs.130/Kg to Rs.128/Kg, a cut of Rs.2/Kg.
