ok it's 3.30am it might be sleep deprivation but i was thinking about how odd future's growth isnt that different from a disney kid like britney, miley and sabrina carpenter, growing up with cameras on their faces, doing wild stuff for clout, and im like if tyler is getting this much heat for being dumb af as teen/young adult, is anybody gonna talk about how _christian clancy (if not the clancys) was there to see them throw their community/anyone who isnt a pale boy under the bus for profit while he profitted too_? bc if tyler is getting cancelled for stuff he said ages ago, wasnt clancy there to be like _yo this is not ok_? at least on twitter, bc lyrics are lyrics, it wouldnt be good for a manager to mess with the music, but... isnt he supposed to manage or at least _advise_ tyler on whats not alright to tweet? because he worked with eminem apparently, so he knows shock value, and i dont know what eminem was like on interviews, but he certainly didnt grow up on the internet like odd future... can this be considered negligence when he was the only experienced white man in a room full of young black 17-20yos? am i reaching? why did it take pharrell for tyler to wake up and change? because if we're holding tyler accountable for the harmful stuff he said, for the audience of edgelords he nurtured, shouldnt we hold clancy accountable for thinking that kind of behaviour was ok? i need to touch grass
