jim lake: - jim & james are from other media, not his bio dad. he eventually drops the jr. - his gender & attraction is kind of affected by him being not human, but is a trans boy. he uses he/him pretty exclusively, but isn't upset by they/them. he labels his attraction as bi, and doesn't seem to have a gender preference, but it matters slightly to him. he's a mess no matter what. - before he figured out Not Girl, he went by his initial of B or Bee. (i do not have a deadname hc for him otherwise LOL) claire nunez: - i play with either trans girl / trans femme or nonbinary claire. - i dont have a deadname hc for her its a secret to everyone. - struggles with oldest daughter syndrome - she/they/neos - usually ae/aem or fae/faer - bisexual. urple. that's how she labels her attraction, partially bc the flag is vibes.

toby domzalski: - genderfluid & nonbinary icon. - collects pronouns like he collects rocks. you cannot misgender him. - he/she/they/it/neos - pansexual - if feeling Definitely Girl tm, she might spell her name tobi. - has periods of solid gender but also prefers comfort over performing gender stereotypes.

barbara lake & james sturges: - i play around between cis and trans woman barbara. - barbie / barbara was the name that stuck as a kid - barbara is bisexual, or pansexual? she's not sure, and doesn't have time to sit and question it. definitely prefers to date for personality and chemistry, and if they'll date a single mom who's always busy with work. - james gets stuck here because of #barbara lore, but they're either both cis or t4t. neither took the other's name when they married. james just transitioned into a deadbeat husband. (JOKES) - jim has barbara's family name. she didn't take james's name after all.

the trollhunters bug bit me aggressively again as i've finally re-adding toa to my comfort show rotation again, i'm pulling out the notes, i'm finally finishing my gosh darn fanfic 'i've got to find my soul all before i sleep'

which means i will, at some point, have to watch the movie (there is no war in ba sing se however there is now i'm acknowledging that it exists. big sigh) again and put myself through that heartache just to get some quotes and other things down note-wise while i re-read what i have written since it's been.
