Found one of the most solarpunk spots I've ever seen, in kc. A massive greenhouse complex with an aquaponics system. Tons of animals around inclusing some baby geese for sale. A massive amount of plants with a great selection of native perinials. A rocket mass heater in the wintertime. And a massive overhead grape arbor for summertime. Biodigesters to procude fertalizer and heat. A little library full of gardening books. And tons of spots just to hang out. Owner is a really cool guy. Place is called antioch urban growers if your around kc.

There is something about machines that work together with nature, instead against it, that keeps facinating me. I hope to explore this more in the future!

Indoor gardening updates! Lots of sprouting is taking place

Photo 4: houseplants that are growing new leaves and roots, they outgrew their original pot, and I switched them into the aquarium to help them grow a bit stronger before I find them new homes in dirt

Photo 7: Tomato seeds, they might be struggling a bit, so I added some water and adjusted the plastic on top

Photo 8: cucumber seeds! I saw someone use an arch to grow them indoors, so I have to try

Photo 10: Tomatoes that have yet to sprout but are on a heat mat with plastic wrap to keep in humidity

I got a bit bored in bed as I recently suffered a hip injury and made two of those pinteresty moodboards of cool solarpunkish careers-

In all honesty tho, pretty much any career can be solarpunk with the right ideas! These are just some of those "aesthetically" solarpunk ones lol
