Feeling very attacked

A Very Abridged Album Review: Void - The Rose
Candy (So Good): the instrumental at the start is great, soft voices filled with adoration, sprinkled in english, banned from broadcast for a reason, but suggestive in the purest ‘you look so good’ way possible, woosung’s airy voice kills me every time, very sing-a-long-able chorus, the repetitive parts in the bg are SO GOOD, harmoniessss
Baby: melancholic piano, i love poetic lyrics~, hits you in a held back way in the chorus with electric guitar and hard fast drums, beautiful voices, jaehyeong and hajoons parts!!, jumping synth in the bg, empty clear vocals bridge, ‘clouds are shrouding us into the dark’, holding your breath before THE DROP, definition of soulful heart wrenching
I.L.Y: echo-y piano solo, reverb- full vocals, woosung’s soft and misty voice, the first ‘i love you’ grasps your heart and draws circles on it, becomes warmer with guitar and drums, dojoon’s voice is a warm hug on a stormy day, the ending is empty and yet full of love, beautiful in its simplicity
Sorry: TIMELESS MASTERPIECE, still my favourite the Rose song, strong vocals, gradual buildup altogether with every single component of the song, the way their voices fade airily in the chorus, soulful karaoke for life, everything is just. so. on. point., you’re lying if you say you haven’t listened to this song on repeat at least once
Like We Used To: heavenly vocals, nostalgia, really full instrumental in chorus, that airy thing woosung does (again), electric guitar!!, earnest repetitive regret embodied in a song, and yet a kind of defeated acceptance of a lonely ending, feels warm but in a way where you can still feel the cold on your finger tips, this song has very deep complicated feelings i love it
THE INSTRUMENTALS ARE TOO GOOD TOO HOW-
