friendly reminder that forgiving persecutor alters is not always easy. it is going to be difficult. it is going to require work and effort. but it is important.Â
forgiving persecutors, allowing them to heal, helping them to heal. none of it is going to be a nice, easy walk in the park. but it is worth the effort. they are worth the effort. and to any persecutors or misguided protectors/trauma holders/etc. who are reading this, you are worth the effort!
do not give up on your alters, even when it isn’t easy. be patient with your alters and be patient with yourself. all alters are capable of healing, all alters deserve the chance to grow and change, and all alters deserve love and care. (yes, including you ^-^)
