The 2nd Annual Independent Art Book Fair will be held at the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse, September 22–24, 2017. Fair hours will be 12-7pm, free and open to the public.

Independent Art Book Fair (IABF) is a new platform for an independent group of publishers, bookmakers, and artists. IABF participants include artists, galleries, and publishers presenting editions, periodicals, and books that define new trends in artist editions and artistic practice, as well as artists’ projects. IABF aims to embrace and ignite these communities by gathering to explore the intersection of diverse ideas.

With the mission to create an accessible and approachable environment where publishers, artists, and visitors can have valuable experiences by connecting with each other within a larger creative environment, IABF welcomes proposals from artists, galleries and publishers alike. Your contribution augments our mission and provides a unique voice for the independent ideas circulating in the arts and publishing.

Last year IABF exhibitors gathered from all around the US and a few places around the globe including: Atlanta, Amsterdam, Baltimore, Berlin, Brooklyn, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Columbia, Helsinki, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montreal, New York, Oakland, Providence, Richmond, Rochester, San Francisco, Saratoga Springs, and Vancouver. Concurrent with NYABF at MOMA PS1 in Long Island City, we are excited to elaborate on a weekend dedicated to Art Books, Editions, and Publishing.

IABF believes in building a beautiful and democratic fair. Our table dimensions reflect a system that is easy to understand, maintain, and multiply based on the amount of surface area needed by exhibitor. There are 3 different table sizes: Full Table (FT), Half Table (HT), and Quarter Table (QT). Our modular system also includes a Vertical Wall (VW), that can be added to any table, in any quantity, to form a unique configuration. Application with prices and dimensions attached. *APs will exhibit artwork on a 4’x8’ Vertical Wall, or in a special/designated area in the venue as an installation.
