This is an interesting concept of making objects 'smart' by combining tangible interfaces with GUIs using AR image recognition.
But do we really NEED this? Is this the best way to utilize AR? While they stress on the importance of the haptic feedback and tangible interactions, this product actually requires a screen to be held up in order to access the 'interactive features' that GUIs bring....
Looks like its going to be a while before we see AR technology fizzle away or used in a revolutionary way.
